Part Seven

When Grace awoke the next morning, she saw the sun shining through
the glass door leading to the balcony. She sat up and listened for Hope and
after a second the heard her downstairs. She stretched and yawned before
slipping out of the bed and heading downstairs. At the bottom of the
stairs, she saw that Hope was moving around by the stove, obviously fixing
them something to eat for breakfast. She exchanged "Good mornings" with her
before heading to the bathroom to pee and make herself a little more
presentable.
"So what's for breakfast?" Grace asked before giving Hope a light
kiss.
"Something very delicious," Hope replied with a grin.
"Did you remember the sugar?" Grace asked.
"Yes I remembered the sugar..." Hope said with a bit of a pout
before giving her an understanding smile.
"Good then let's eat, I'm hungry." Grace said as she poured them
both some milk taking it to the little table.
Hope picked up the two bowls from the counter walking to the table,
once there; she hesitated for a second before moving on past. At first
Grace thought that she was going to take the bowls to the balcony but she
didn't head toward the stairs but instead headed for the front door.
"Where you going?" Grace asked when Hope got to the door fearing the
worse and knowing that it was coming.
"Outside, it's a beautiful morning and I thought that we'd enjoy the
morning air and sunshine." Hope told her before balancing the bowls in her
left hand and arm and opening the door with her right. "Get us a couple of
towels to sit upon." She added before going on outside leaving the door
open.
"Fuck!" Grace said more to herself than anybody as she didn't want
to start the day this way.
"And get a bar of soap to wash that filthy mouth out when you get
the towels."She heard Hope call back to her and that made Grace laugh even
when she didn't want to.
Grace went to the bathroom getting them both a towel and she started
to turn when she saw a small bar of soap. She picked that up too and went
to get their milk. When she got outside, she saw a smiling Hope standing
by the picnic table that was under the canopy shading it. Grace saw that
her bowl was on the side of the table facing the cabin and she was thankful
for that. At least the people walking by would only see her from the side
and back.
Grace put their glasses of milk down on the picnic table before
handing Hope one of the towels that she had draped over her arm. She laid
her towel down on the bench and quickly sat down crossing her legs so that
her pussy would be hid. She waited for Hope to sit down before she placed
the small bar of soap that she had cupped in her hand down on the table.
Hope laughed at that, "I see that you didn't forget the soap."
"Yea but you're the one going to use it for making me eat out here."
Grace told her with a smile before picking up her spoon and getting a bit
of Hope's nutritious breakfast.
"Oh I am?" Hope asked.
"Yes you are." Grace told her seriously but then she had to smile.
"Well I guess I do deserve it to make you come out her to eat and
then to make you eat my awful food." Hope told her.
"Actually I'm kind of getting used to the taste and it really isn't
so bad. Plus I do feel a burst of energy after I've eaten it. So while I'll
continue to complain about it, I do like it now." Grace admitted to her.
"I'm glad; I would hate to have to keep feeding you something that
you hate to eat." Hope told her.
"Well I don't so don't worry about that." Grace told her and then
she hesitated, "but that doesn't mean that I won't stop complaining about
it." She then laughed a little drawing a little laugh from Hope.
"And I guess that since you admit liking my food, I have to say that
I love some of the foods that you have introduced me to, and some aren't as
bad for us as I make them out to be." Hope told her with a grin.
"That's good as I intend to keep introducing you to new and tasty
things." Grace told her.
"Well there's one thing that you make that is really tasty..." Hope
said with a shy grin.
"What's that, I haven't fixed you anything yet." Grace told her
knowing that she hadn't cooked anything for Hope.
"Oh... there's one thing..." Hope told her while giving her a wink
and then her eyes went downward.
Grace looked downward with Hope and she just saw her lap and then it
hit her as her eyes focused on the junction of her legs. She felt her face
grow warm, "Hope!" she said trying not to laugh at Hope's naughty joke.
"So is there anything that you like to cook, maybe while we're here
you can cook some things for us to eat." Hope told her.
"I don't like to cook unless I'm really in the mood..."Grace told
her and she saw a bit of disappointment in Hope's face, "... however I
might find myself in the mood to fix a few things."
"Good, I would love that." Hope said now smiling.
'"But there is a condition to me cooking for you...' Grace told her
and she saw Hope's face turn to a frown.
"What's that?" Hope asked.
"That you actually cook something for me other than this that you
just mix up in a bowl from your seemingly endless source of powders that
you brought with you." Grace told her.
"Well first off, my seemingly endless source of powders are about
out so I'm going to have to find a way to resupply them. I brought enough
to just feed myself and not two. And secondly, you have different things
here than what I'm used to. I don't know if I can fix you something from my
home." Hope told her.
"And then how are you going to resupply your powders?" Grace asked.
"Oh I think I can find something close to them..." Hope was saying
when she saw the grin on Grace's face. "Okay I'll think of something." She
finished with a laugh.
Grace had Hope talk about some of the things that she might be able
to fix for her here and Grace did the same and she forgot about sitting
outside naked until she heard a golf cart coming down the little road. She
looked around to see that it was Sara with her granddaughter Tammy driving
the cart. They both were, of course, naked as they could be. Grace was
hoping that they would pass by without stopping but that thought was dashed
when she heard the cart slowing down.
Tammy pulled the cart in beside of their car and Tammy jumped out
first. Grace was too shocked and upset the previous night when she saw
Tammy to really get a good idea as to what she looked like. But now in the
light of the day and without the counter in the way, she got a better look
at the young girl.
She had shoulder length auburn hair made lighter by the sun and she

offered to show you around this morning, didn't you Tammy?'" Sara said
looking at Tammy.
"Yes grandmother," Tammy said with a grin and then she leaned over
and whispered into Grace's ear, "She told me that I had to and make sure
that you had fun and would want to stay. But I didn't mind, I like you two,
you're funny."
"What's that?" Sara said with a bit of a worried look at her
mischievous granddaughter.
"Nothing Grandma, I got it from here," Tammy said as she jumped up
and went to her grandmother giving her a kiss on the cheek before saying
something to her that Grace couldn't understand.
"It's seems that I'm being dismissed, you ladies have a good time
and anything you need just ask Tammy and she'll get it for you," Sara said
with a smile and then she said something to Tammy who just nodded before
walking with her grandmother to the cart where she got out a small bag that
she hung over her shoulder and she grabbed a large towel. She gave her
Grandmother another kiss before sending her on her way. Tammy came back
over putting her towel down on the bench by Grace and then sitting there.
"Have you had breakfast honey, I can fix you something," Hope told
her.
"Say no to anything that she tries to feed you," Grace said quickly
drawing a frown from Hope and a giggle from Tammy.
"No I'm fine, I don't eat breakfast," Tammy said quickly and then
she stated, "You two love to fuss at each other don't you,"
"Yes we do but it's all in fun for the most part." Grace told her.
"You need to eat so I'm going to fix you something to eat, and let
you decide if you like it or not," Hope said getting up.
"She's like my grandmother; if it was up to her I'd weight four
hundred pounds." Tammy said to Grace.
"Yes she probably is but her food won't make you gain weight however
it may taste strange. But it will make you feel good and it is good for
you. Being healthy is important to her," Grace told Tammy.
"It's cool, I like strange things. I'm weird like that," Tammy said
still smiling.
"Well you seem normal to me," Grace told Tammy and she felt herself
feeling more relaxed with Tammy sitting there completely naked and
completely oblivious to Grace or anyone else being naked, that was a normal
state for her.
"This is really your first time to a nudist resort isn't it?" Tammy
asked.
"Yes it is and I'm kind of nervous about it, I'm really shy about my
body." Grace admitted to the young girl.
"Oh it's fun and by the end of the day, you'll long since forget
that you're naked. Grandmother taught me long ago that everyone's body is

pausing as if she was trying to remember who was who.
Grace smiled at her and she put her hand on Tammy's hand, "I'm Grace
and that is Hope bringing out food to you." Grace told her.
"Oh sorry, I remember that you were Hope and Grace, I just couldn't
remember who was who," Tammy said blushing a little.
"It's okay, we sometimes forget who we are too," Hope said with a
laugh and making Tammy laugh.
"This may taste funny at first but I do want you to eat it all, it's
good for you." Hope said putting the bowl in front of Tammy along with a
glass of milk.
"Yes ma'am," Tammy said as she picked up the spoon and she put a
spoonful into her mouth. Grace saw the strange look come over Tammy's face
as she tasted the strange food. Grace was wondering if Tammy would try to
spit it out or eat it but then she sort of smiled as she swallowed.
"It is different but not too bad," Tammy said getting another
spoonful and putting it into her mouth much to Hope's delight.
Grace wasn't sure if Tammy was eating it to be nice to Hope or that
she liked it, but either way she was glad that Tammy was eating it. "So do
you live here all the time or just during the summer?" Grace asked her.
"I've lived here since I was six when my parents got divorced."
Tammy said pausing a moment to take another spoonful of her
breakfast. "They started to use me against each other and it was making me
miserable. So I called Grandma and she came and got me. She told them that
when they got their act together, they could have me back. It took them two
years to get their act together and by then I didn't want to go live with
either one of them so I chose to stay here and help Grandma."
"That's great that you had someone to go to when you needed them,"
Hope said feeling sad for the poor girl.
"Yea and she needs me too, I like taking care of her," Tammy said
and then she grinned, "Besides what girl gets to live in a place that has
two big swimming pools to swim in whenever they want."
"Very true, and not have to worry about what to wear every day."
Grace added with a smile.
"Yea I like that and I hate when school starts and I have to wear a
bra, I hate those damn things." Tammy said to them.
"We might have something that you can get away with not wearing a
bra and no one will ever know." Hope told her.
"You know if you keep giving our Tunskan's away, we won't have
anything to wear." Grace told her with a grin.
"Don't worry, we got plenty and I can always get more," Hope told
her.
"You can?" Graced asked as Tammy looked on, eating and smiling at
them enjoying their argument.
"Yes I can," Hope told her with a smile.
"How order then through the internet?" Grace said sarcastically.
"More or less..." Hope said with a wink.
"Well order this poor girl some before she has to go back to school
and have to wear those damn bras," Grace told her.
"Are they like the dresses that you were wearing last evening when
you arrived," Tammy asked excitedly.
"Yes those are called Tunskan's and that's what I had in mind." Hope
told her.
"Do you have them with lots of powder blue in them, I love that
color," Tammy asked.
"I don't know but I'll try to get as close to that color as I can."
Hope told her.
"Okay if you can't that is fine too, I'll get Grandma to take it off
your bill," Tammy told Hope.
"That's okay, it won't cost either of us a thing," Hope told her.
"How can that be, everything cost something. I've learned that from
helping grandma with the books. It cost us a fortune to get this place like
it is and it cost lots to keep it going." Tammy told her showing a maturity
far beyond her years.
"Don't worry, Hope can do unworldly things," Grace said giving Hope
a wink that Tammy caught so she quickly changed the subject, "And you can
also go with panties too in the Tunskan."
"Ready? Do you?" Tammy asked.
"Yes she does." Hope said before Grace could reply.
"Cool that'll be like going nude at school. I really do hate to wear
clothes." Tammy said with a grin.
"I can see that," Grace replied.
"Well you ready to get the grand tour; this one will be a lot more
fun than the one grandma took you on last night." Tammy said hopping up
from the picnic table.
"Let me take these dishes inside and then we'll be off on our
adventure." Hope said getting up and gathering the dishes.
"Are there very many people here today?" Grace asked feeling her
nerves acting up a little.
"No not a lot, most of the guests will arrive tomorrow night. The
weekends are when this place rocks." Tammy said and then she frowned a bit,
"But this also when Grandma and I are the busiest too."
"So you get to watch all the other kids have fun while you have to
work." Grace said feeling a little sad for Tammy.
"Yea but Grandma also makes sure that I have time to have fun with
my friends. She knows that now is the time for me to have fun as one day
I'll be the one in charge." Tammy said with a smile.
"And today you get stuck showing us around," Grace told her.
"Oh that's going to be the fun part of my day," Tammy said with a
bright smile.
"I don't think getting stuck with us can't be too much fun," Grace
told her.
"Oh it will be," Tammy said with a big grin and Grace saw that she
was serious and she began to believe that if anyone could make something
fun it would be Tammy with her youthful enthusiasm.
"So we ready?" Hope said coming back out of the cabin.
"I guess but I got to get the sunscreen, I'll get burn to a crisp if
I go out in the sun without any clothes on." Grace said getting up off the
bench.
"Oh I got plenty," Tammy said pulling a bottle out of her bag.
She took the top off putting some in her hand before handing the
bottle to Grace. She got some and then handed it to Hope who just looked at
it.
"I don't need any, I've got a good tan and I don't burn." Hope said
holding the bottle out for Grace to take back.
"I don't care you're putting some on too," Grace told her pushing
the bottle back at Hope.
"But..." Hope said but Grace interrupted her.
"No buts, put some on," Grace told her.
"Are you two going to fight now?" Tammy asked giggling and watching
them both intently.
"No honey, we're not going to fight, Hope is going to put the
sunscreen on just like we are." Grace said taking the bottle and then she
turned Hope's palm upward and she put some into it. "Now put it on your
body sweetie."
"Yes ma'am," Hope said with a laugh but she did begin to rub it into
her skin.
"See she knows when to do as she's told." Grace said giving a wink
to Tammy and getting a giggle from her making them all laugh.
They all spread the sunscreen on themselves and then took turns
putting some on each other's backs, with Grace getting the honor of putting
some on Tammy's back. She saw that Hope was watching her carefully and she
gave her a reassuring smile. Tammy was a very pretty young girl but she
wasn't into young women, she was into girls not from this world.
Once they had been covered to Grace's satisfaction, Tammy put the
sunscreen into her bag and threw it over her shoulder. She then grabbed
Grace's left hand and Hope's right hand and began to lead them away from
the cabin.
Grace was beginning to feel nervous again now that she was walking
around naked in broad daylight. She was just to the point of wanting to let
go of Tammy's hand and go running back to the safety of the cabin where
only Hope would see her naked when Tammy made her forget all about where
she was and what she wasn't wearing.
"So did you spank Hope last night?" Tammy asked her.
"What?" Grace said surprised that Tammy would even have the guts to
ask such a question but then she was still young and curious, obviously

reminded Grace as if she needed any reminding.
"Hope you're not helping here..." Grace said to Hope and giving her

and Grace could feel her face getting warm and she saw that Tammy was
watching her closely as they walked.
"Tammy, I was angry with Hope last night and I was just fusing at
her and no I didn't spank her," Grace said hoping to end the conversation.
"Oh," Tammy said slightly disappointed.

"That's good, does your grandmother know?" Grace asked now curious.
"Yea, she cool with it," Tammy said happily. "So how long have you
been together?"
"You're just full of questions aren't you?" Grace stated still not

Tammy laughed, "Yea, Grandma tells me that I'm a nosy busybody."
Grace had to laugh at that as Tammy was, "We just been together for
a couple of months now." Grace replied.

"I thought the idea was for you to show us around and you answer our
questions about your resort, not you ask us all these personal questions,"

"It was my grandmother's idea for me to show you around..." Tammy

"You are devious, you know that." Grace said with a laugh.
"I can be, I just wanted to find out what it is like to be lesbian

"Older you mean," Hope said.

"Well we're not that old!" Grace said with a laugh and she squeezed

meet?"
Grace hesitated but Hope didn't, "Grace was very sick when I saw her
and I healed her. Somewhere along the way we became lovers."
Grace gave Hope a look to be careful as to what she said but Tammy
just went on with it, "Are you a doctor?" She asked Hope.
"No but I know how to heal people," Hope told her simply.
"Cool then if I get hurt or sick, I know where to come." Tammy said
just as they reached the sand volleyball court.
Tammy then turned into their tour guide as she told them about the
volleyball games that are played and even the tournament that they host at
the beginning of summer. Hope asked her about how the game was played and
to tell her that, she got them into the sand to show Hope how it was played
with her and Hope on one side and Grace on the other, being the person to
get the ball back across the net. From there it was to the pool and game
hall. They mostly walked around there before going to the spa area. This
didn't much interest Tammy so that was a quick tour, but Grace knew that
she and Hope would return here and soon. She kept the tour going so they
went to where the trails were before going down to the beach. There were
several people there sunbathing and Grace saw that they all had great tans
where she was so pale. She was going to have to work on her tan and she
knew by the time that they left, she would have a good start on one.
And then Tammy asked what time it was and when she found out that it
was nearing noon, she hurried them back to the center of the resort where
the two pools were. She showed them the smaller pool first. Grace saw a few
older couples talking and sipping on drinks. She also saw a small bar set
back from it and she figured that this was the pool that the older people
went to get away from the kids playing and screaming at the other
pool. This was the pool that Grace wanted to stay at and relax in the
shade. However Tammy had other ideas as she grabbed their hands pulling
them on past it to the second and larger pool about a hundred yards away,
which was plenty of distance to keep the first pool in relative quiet.
Grace didn't see anyone there at first but then she saw a young girl
lying in a lounge chair right by the pool and she appeared to be
asleep. Tammy put her finger to her mouth indicating that they needed to be
quiet as she took them though the gate and up to the pool. She maneuvered
them around so that they were at the lower side of the pool next to the end
where the girl was lying. Tammy put their bags down in a chair and Grace
saw that she had a big grin on her face, or rather a devious one.
"The rule for this pool is that the first time you go into the pool
you have to jump in doing a canon ball," She whispered to them.
"A canon ball?" Hope asked with a confused look on her face.
"You run to the edge of the pool and you jump in but before you hit
the water, you bring your feet up and hold onto them making yourself into a
ball." Tammy said quietly with a big grin.
"Is this really a rule or are you doing it to splash that cute girl
over there." Grace asked eyeing the girl and seeing that she was around
Tammy's age.
"Oh it's a rule..." Tammy said with a devious smile, "I just made it
up." Then she giggled.
"We go on three." Tammy then said taking both of their hands in
hers. "One... two... three!"
They were about ten feet from the edge of the pool when Tammy
started to pull them toward the edge. Grace hoped that Hope knew how to
swim and she glanced over at her to see her grinning so she figured that
she did.
When they got to the edge of the pool and started to jump, Tammy
yelled out, "Hey Madison!"
Grace saw the girl suddenly sat up startled by Tammy calling out her
name. Tammy let go of her hand just in time for Grace to bring her legs up
making an imperfect cannon ball. They all hit the water more or less in
unison making what Grace figured was a rather large splash. The water was
at least warm but still cool enough to shock her hot sweaty body.
When her head popped above the water, Grace saw that Tammy and Hope
were already ahead of her. She looked over at Madison who was coming out of
her chair and she looked pissed.
"Tammy I'm going to kill you!" she said as she came toward the side
of the pool. She was soaked so Tammy had figured the angle just right to
get her friend soaked.
"I'm sorry but I couldn't help myself," Tammy said leaving them to
swim over to where Madison was fuming.
Grace now saw that Madison was just the opposite of Tammy in that
she was a little plump and had larger breasts and wider hips, though she
like Tammy, she shaved her pussy. She also had long black hair that she had
tied into a ponytail.
"Here help me up," Tammy said as she got to the edge and she held
her right arm up. Grace knew what was coming but obviously Madison didn't
because she reached down to help Tammy out of the pool.
Tammy took a hold of Madison's hand and before Madison could even
think of helping Tammy out, she was heading into the pool. Grace heard
Madison yell "Nooo..." just before she hit the water face first.
"Oh I'm going to get you for that!" Madison yelled when her head
popped out of the water. She swam toward Tammy who didn't fight her too
much before she was dunked under the water by Madison.
"I think we just found Tammy's girlfriend," Grace said to Hope as
they treaded the water watching the girls splash and dunk each other.
"I believe we did at that," Hope replied with a laugh.
"I see that you know how to swim, I wasn't sure and never thought to
ask," Grace told her.
"Yea I went swimming all the time back home. And I see that you do
too," Hope replied.
"Maryanne and I used to spend our summers at the pool, her to look
at the boys and me at the girls," Grace said with a laugh.
"I bet," Hope said with a grin.
"You know swimming nude feels kind of nice..." Grace told Hope as
she realized that she liked the feeling of the water against all of her
skin and no tight bathing suit to wear.
"It does feel nice doesn't it," Hope said with a knowing smile.
"Okay smarty pants, there are some things I think I can like about
being at a nudist resort." Grace told her and she splashed her a little.
"Well hopefully there'll be more." Hope told her.
"If there is, I'm not going to admit them to you," Grace said with a
smile and she splashed her again. She saw Hope start to splash her but she
caught her hand as she realized that Tammy and Madison were no longer
splashing and laughing but instead Tammy was whispering something to
Madison who was now grinning.
"If we're smart, we'd turn and start swimming as fast as we can,"
Grace told Hope.
"Why?" Hope asked with a confused look on her face.
"Because we're about to be attacked by two teenage girls!" Grace
said with a grin pointing to Tammy and Madison who were now swimming toward
them, and swimming pretty quickly.
"Oh," Hope said before turning away from the girls and she started
to swim as did Grace.
However they were no match for two girls that had obviously grew up
in a swimming pool and had learned to swim at a very early age. Grace did
manage to swim a few feet before she saw Madison swimming beside of her and
then she felt a hand on her head. She had just enough time to take a breath
before being pushed under the water. Grace and Maryanne had played this
game many times when they were young so she came back up prepared and she
grabbed Madison's shoulders and dunked her down. Hope was obviously new at
this game as Tammy was dunking her a second time so Grace came up behind
Tammy dunking her before she could react. The game was then on and Hope was
able to pick up quickly on this dunking game, as when she came up she went
for Madison and sent her back down. The dunking game soon turned into a
dunking and splashing game until they all began to tire of the game and
Tammy called a truce.
"This is my girlfriend Madison and Madison these are my new friends
Hope and Grace," Tammy said making the introductions.
"It's nice to meet you Madison and I'm sorry that we splashed you
like we did." Grace said.
"It's okay, I know who put you up to it," Madison said giving Tammy
the evil eye.
"I'm sorry," Tammy said and then she pulled Madison to her giving
her a kiss however Madison quickly pushed her away.
"No Tammy, not in front of them," Madison said quickly and Grace saw
her face turning red from embarrassment.
"It's okay; they're lesbians too, aren't you." Tammy started.
"Yes we are Madison and it's cool if you kiss in front of us, we
don't mind," Hope said softly and kindly thus assuring Madison that she was
among friends.
"Okay, so did Tammy tell you all about us?" Madison asked.
"She just told us that she had a girlfriend but I think she was
saving talking about you until we met you." Grace told her.

herself. However that was when the fates worked against both Hope and
Grace. They had long since moved to the edge of the pool, sitting there
with their feet in the water. Madison got up to go pee and get them all
something to drink.
A few minutes later, Grace heard the door opening from inside of the
grill. She turned around to see Madison carrying a tray with four tall
glasses full of something. Madison had a big smile on her face as she
stepped forward but her foot went too far and just her heel caught the edge
of the next step down. Grace watched as Madison, almost in slow motion,
tossed the tray in the air. She started to fall backwards but then her arm
hit the edge of the door and she ended up propelling herself forward. She
let out a blood curling scream as she went flying forward. Grace tried to
get up and catch Madison but she was far too slow and too far away to catch
the poor girl. The tray of drinks landed a split second before Madison
did. Grace saw the pool girl's head hit a piece of the glass just as her
head bounced off the concrete.
Grace ran to Madison's side with Hope closely behind her. They
turned Madison over and saw that she was out cold but that she also had a
three inch gash on her forehead, just above her left eye that was bleeding
profusely. Tammy came up and when she saw Madison, she screamed.
"Hush Tammy," Grace said firmly and knowing she had to get Tammy out
of the way, she added "Go get me a towel and hurry!"
Tammy just stood there with shock taking away any possibility of
movement. So Hope stood up, went to Tammy, and shook her violently until
Tammy began to come around, "Now go get a couple of clean towels now!" She
ordered her with her voice carrying the authority of someone who knew just
what needed to be done at that moment. She then pushed Tammy toward the
door of the grill and slapped her ass to get her to move faster.
"You know I can heal her and there won't be any scar, I can't say
the same thing about your doctors," Hope told Grace.
"I know," Grace said as she looked around and didn't see anyone. "Do
it before someone comes to investigate Tammy's scream.
Hope got down on her knees on the opposite side of Madison and as
Grace took her hand away, Hope replaced it with her own hand. The blood was
running from Madison forehead and it had coated Grace's hand. Normally she
would be like Tammy and be freaking out but with Hope there, she knew that
everything was going to be okay.
Grace took Madison's right hand in hers, holding it as Hope went
into her trance with her right hand covering Madison's cut and her left
hand on her heart. Grace put her index finger on Madison's wrist feeling
her pulse that was rapid and faint slowly become stronger and also
slower. She looked at Hope's face seeing that while she had her eyes open,
she wasn't seeing anything except Madison's body and how it was injured.
"What is she doing to Madison?" Tammy suddenly said loudly and with
alarm in her voice.
Grace laid Madison's hand on her stomach before standing up and
going to Tammy's side. She said in as calm a voice as she could, "She's
healing her honey, Hope is a healer."
"A healer?" Tammy questioned never taking her eyes off of her
injured friend who was lying unconscious on the concrete before her.
"Yes honey, Hope comes from a planet a long ways from here and this
is how they heal people," Grace said.
"That's not possible; we need to get her to a hospital now! She's
going to die, she's going to kill her!" Tammy said becoming more alarmed
and scared.
Grace went to Tammy and she pulled her into her body, holding onto
her tightly as Tammy began to cry. Grace whispered into Tammy's ear,
"Honey, Hope knows what's she's doing. She healed me when no one else
could. If it wasn't for Hope I would be dead now. I promise you that
neither Hope nor I would ever do anything to harm either you or
Madison. You're our friends and we both love you so much."
"She won't hurt her?" Tammy asked in a shaky voice and her body was
trembling with fear.
"No she won't hurt her," Grace said to her, giving her a squeeze
before she let go of her to so that she could see for herself that Madison
was going to be alright.
She brought Tammy over to Madison and helped her to get down on her
knees beside of her. Tammy reached down grasping Madison's hand and she
held it in her trembling hands as Hope moved her hand from Madison's
forehead. Tammy gasped when she saw that there was no longer a cut there,
not even a scar.
"What?... what did you do?" Tammy asked looking first at Hope and
when she got no response from her, she looked over at Grace.
"She is healing her honey, let her do her work and soon Madison will
be awake and feeling fine." Grace said to Tammy who just stared at her for
a moment before looking back at Hope and then Madison.
"She's going to be okay?" Tammy asked again when she looked back at
Grace with disbelieving eyes.
Grace gave Tammy a soft reassuring smile. "Yes honey, she's going to
be fine."
"Good," Tammy said.
"Come on honey; let's get some more towels to get this mess cleaned
up." Grace said getting up and then taking Tammy's hand.
Tammy resisted at first not wanting to leave her friend's side but
at Grace's urging, she did finally get up, letting go of Madison's
hand. Grace led her into the bathroom. She could tell that Tammy was still
visibly shaken so she took control. She first washed the blood off her own
hands and then she wet a washcloth and got the blood off of Tammy's hands
and then her back from where she had held her to get Tammy to calm
down. Once she was done, she saw that Tammy was beginning to recover and
she saw the questions coming to her mind. Grace diverted her attention by
getting her to show her where some mops and mop buckets were so that they
could clean up the mess and the blood. They filled the buckets with water
and bleach, and then they brought them to the door. Tammy opened the door
and then she saw that Madison was now sitting up.
"Oh baby you all right?" Tammy said loudly as she went out the door
leaving Grace there with the mops and buckets.
Grace just smiled and she followed Tammy out the door.
"I slipped on the steps and I broke some of you grandma's glasses, I
hope she won't be mad." Madison said to Tammy just before Tammy went down
to her knees in front of her and pulled Madison into her arms.
"Are you okay baby?" Tammy asked with tears running down her face as
she hugged Madison tightly.
"Yea I'm fine, I just slipped, and it's no big deal." Madison asked
Tammy and Grace could see how confused Madison was by Tammy's reaction.
"You got hurt bad baby," Tammy said to Madison pulling back from
her.
"Where did you get all that blood that's on you?" Madison asked
alarmed.
"From you baby, you had a big gash on your head." Tammy replied.
"Where?" Madison asked while reaching up trying to find the cut. She
didn't find it of course but her fingers were bloody and that alarmed
her. "I don't feel a cut."
"Tammy, why don't you take Madison in and get her cleaned up while
Grace and I clean up this mess here." Hope said firmly.
"Okay," Tammy said getting up before helping a now shaken Madison
up.
"Can I take her into the shower?" Tammy asked Hope.
"Yea, she's fine," Hope said with a smile.
Tammy helped Madison around the broken glass and on into the grill
where there was a shower in the large bathroom there.
Once they were inside and out of hearing range, Grace turned to Hope
to ask, "I don't guess you can erase their memory?"
"Afraid not," Hope said with a smile as they went to the door to get
the mops and bucket filled with bleach and water.
"Then I guess we got a lot of explaining to do don't we?" Grace told
her.
"Yea we do, you got any ideas as to what to tell them?" Hope asked
once they had the bucket and mops out of the door.
"Well I already told Tammy that you were a healer from another
planet, but I don't how much sunk in." Grace told her.
"Even if she doesn't remember what you said to her tonight, she will
in a few days so we got to tell them the truth and hope that they can keep
it to themselves." Hope told her.
"I think we can but you know Tammy is the type who will act first
and then think, I think that play into her ability to keep a secret too."
Grace cautioned her.
"I know so that makes what we say to them all that much more
important," Hope told her while they cleaned the glass and blood from the
concrete. Luckily it was so smooth that they could get all the blood up
without leaving a trace.
About that time, Tammy and Madison came out of the door and they
both stared at Hope as if she was some strange being from outer space
which, of course, she was. Their eyes showed that they didn't know whether
to fear her or accept her. To Grace, it appeared like they were leaning
toward fearing her.
"Girls, why don't you come over here and let's talk." Hope said to
them with more than a little authority in her voice. They looked from Hope
to Grace who nodded to them and thankfully, they did as Hope had told them
to do.
"Hope go make us some of those frozen fruit drinks you like so
much," Grace told Hope with just as much authority however she knew that
Hope would do as she requested.
Grace went over to where Madison and Tammy were sitting and she sat
across from them. "I got a story to tell you and I want you to listen very
carefully to what I have to tell you." She told them looking in their eyes,
going from one to the other and getting a positive nod from them.
